Apple Sold 1.7 iPhone 4The new iPhone 4 has sold over 1.7 million devices three days after its launch on the 24th of June, as announced by Apple today.

The new iPhone 4 comes with a great feature that makes video calling as easy as one tap called FaceTime, The New Retina Display of Apple, and the highest resolution display ever to be built into a smartphone.

CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs, said that this is the most successful product launch in the history of Apple. He also clearly stated that they apologize to those customers who were turned away because they did not have enough supply.

iPhone 4 also comes with a five megapixel camera with a LED flash with HD 720p video recording. The phone has an Apple A4 processor, a 3-axis gyro, and up to forty percent longer talk time. All of this packed in a new beautiful design of glass and stainless steel that is the thinnest smartphone in the world.

iPhone 4 also comes with the newest version of the most advanced mobile operating system in the world, the iOS4. It features Multitasking, Folders, enhanced Mail, and deeper Enterprise support plus the new iAd mobile advertising platform by Apple.

apple iphoneThe iPhone was Apple’s top-selling product last quarter, which took $5.45 billion in sales, or 40 % of revenue. Apple Inc may plan to uncover the successor of its highly appreciated product iPhone this June. Apple Inc CEO Steve Jobs will be addressing the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference to be held in June and the news much likely will be revealed then.

According to Willian Kreher(St Louis-based analyst at Edward Jones & Co), the company will introduce the new hardware i.e the latest iPhone. WWDC is known for the product introduction and this time it will be the new iphone. Steve will kick off the meeting on June 7 which will be till 7 days.

Since the release of iPhone in June 2007, Apple has presented a new version every summer. In July 2008, the iPhone 3G went for sale which was then followed by another upgraded version in June 2009.
